Good morning ladies.
For those of us who may wake up feeling not our best selves. This is something I do if negative thoughts bombard me in the morning.
Ask: How did you wake up feeling this morning? What thought was attached to that feeling? If it was a thought that was negative ask yourself is that thought true? Would you speak to your child, friend or stranger in the way this thought presents itself to you? No? Then what would you replace that thought with? For me? I am loved, I am blessed, I am enough just as I am. God loves me just as I am. No matter what.
Ladies we have to advocate for ourselves, and it starts in the mind. It’s a moment to moment decision towards healing.
Do you have a morning routine that sets you up for the day? What anchors you? Even if it’s a few minutes of journaling, listening to an uplifting song with your headphones on, a cup of warm tea and just looking out the window at the sun, prayer…whatever gets you in a place of peace. Do that.
We are the captains of our ship so we get to choose the direction we want it to go. Choose the direction of peace and whatever thought/action moves you towards it…just for today. I’m sending you all love this morning.
