Good morning lovelies!

Is the grass greener. Dissatisfaction: Comparison

I looked through others’ windows

On an enchanted earth

But out of my own window–

solitude and dearth.

And yet there is a mystery

I cannot understand–

That others through my window

See an enchanted land.

When we compare our view to others we loose the enchantment of our own. We look out our windows and watch other peoples lives and think “oh their grass is so green” We compare our “grass” and think that ours is to brown, not watered enough, not landscaped beautifully like theirs, not good enough….fill in the blank. We lesson our own value and worth by the death of comparison and dissatisfaction. I would be curious to ask you..who and what are you comparing yourself to? Take a step back and don’t forget that the grass on your side of the fence is there for you to water, nurture and landscape however your heart desires. You have everything you need to create a masterpiece. You are gifted, talented, beautiful and blessed. And when others come and look out your window, they will witness and experience the enchantment of your land. Love S
